HOURS OF OPERATION:
Wed-Sat    0800-1700 (self service)
Mon-Fri    0800-1700 (mechanic services by appointment only)
     (NOTE: Closed on all federal holidays)

The Auto Shop provides you with equipment, tools, and a well-trained professional staff to assist you while you work on your vehicle or boat. The Shop has a total of five stalls, with three lifts. Floor jacks and jack stands are available for use. In addition to standard and metric tools, specialty items are also available to include: air wrenches and chisels, spring and strut compressors, tach and dwell meters and timing lights. If you are experiencing engine problems, just use our computer diagnostic machine.

Outside Parking Area
     To accommodate major overhauls, the outside enclosed parking area can store vehicles 
awaiting repairs and or repair parts.

ELIGIBILITY: Active duty military and family members, retired military and family members, and DOD civilians are eligible to obtain services from the Fort Monroe Auto Craft Shop. For further information, please contact us at 788-2311.

The Auto Craft Shop’s kiosk allows online access to factory manual for all makes and models of autos and trucks.

The kiosk is available to patrons as well as mechanics. The service provides repair and parts information, including factory parts cost said Bill Neff, Auto Craft Shop manager. Patrons and mechanics can print out repair procedures, tune-up specifications and parts lists with costs.


The Automotive Craft Shop has a courtesy ride service. It is available from the shop to the patron's office on post. This service is available to active duty and DOD personnel.
