Our Mission
Our Mission is Caring!

Facility
Our Child Development Homes (CD Homes) provide a small group setting in a homelike environment for children ages 4 weeks to 6 years. We provide the best of both worlds for your child: the benefits of a Child Development Center and the warmth and comfort of a Family Child Care home.

Philosophy
A child’s education begins at birth. Everything a child experiences becomes a part of his/her background. Children draw from their backgrounds throughout their lives. The children and adults who touch a child’s life may have a lasting affect on how the child views his/her world and the people in it.

Programs Offered:
  • Full Day Care
  • Before & After Kindergarten Care
  • Part Day Preschool for Four Year Olds

All of our programs are designed to promote intellectual, emotional, physical and social development in a healthy, happy, and safe learning environment. Daily opportunities to enhance fine and gross motor skills, language development, social and cognitive skills are provided. We recognize that children learn best through “hands-on” experience. We strive to develop a life-long love for learning in each child.

Curriculum:
The Army uses a unified curriculum called, Creative Curriculum, which was developed by Teaching Strategies. This curriculum requires teachers to observe each child’s growth & development and to use observations to design activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Learning is on a continuum that begins in infancy and continues throughout each child’s time with us.

NAEYC Accreditation
Our programs are accredited by the National Association for Young Children, a civilian organization dedicated to promoting high quality early childhood education.

USDA Food Program
We participate in the US Dept. of Agriculture Child Nutrition Program. Parents can be assured that our pre-approved menus comply with USDA meal requirements. We also receive nutrition guidance, educational materials and a financial reimbursement from USDA.

Fees
A sliding scale based on the total family income is used to determine fees. Full day charges range from $196 to $494 per month. Hourly care fees are $3.50 per hour. A second child discount is given for all programs.
