From north and south, take I-64 to Exit 268.
Then, follow red historical markers.

Nautical Location:
Old Point Comfort: 37 degrees N/76 degrees 19'W 
- From Thimble Shoal tower on the Lower Bay it is about three nautical miles to the tip of Old Point Comfort.
- A series of shipping channel markers will direct you southwest (and deep water).
- You will see the Chamberlin Hotel as you approach the point. Follow point to south end (look for warning signs near the rotting pilings of the old steamer docks).
- At point's SW corner, turn North, leaving to port flashing green #1 and the entrance for the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.
- OPCM is opposite flashing green #3.
- Enter at the North end of the wave screen.
- Water depth at mean low water:  15'.

Old Point Comfort Marina Landmarks: 
You can't miss the ten-story Chamberlin Hotel and the Old Point Comfort lighthouse! The hotel currently is undergoing renovation. Be especially cautious of the vast seawall repair project currently underway along the bay (east) side of Fort Monroe. The marina is on the east side of the channel 0.4 miles above Old Point Comfort.

Marina Services and Amenities:

General: 
Boat ramp, Laundry/shower facility, sewage pump out and dump station, indoor wet slip. Thumper's Restaurant is located above the Marina.

Ship's Store:
Offers boating supplies, fishing bait & tackle, snack foods, beer, soft drinks and ice, souvenir T-shirts and hats. We will gladly special order boating parts and supplies if items are not in stock; often we can offer one-day turn-around.  Bait: Bloodworms, minnows, night crawlers, shrimp, and squid (when available).

Fuel Dock:
Offers gasoline and diesel fuel at prevailing market price. Pumped by marina staff. Click here for link to current fuel prices.

Transient boater Services:
Transient boaters have at their disposal all services offered to regular slip renters.  

Liveaboard Policy:
Liveaboards are not authorized at OPCM. "Liveaboard" is defined as "person(s) using vessel as residence or overnight accommodations between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. for more than two (2) days out of seven (7) maximum per month."

All active-duty and retired military personnel and their dependents; spouses of military personnel who have not remarried and their family members; honorably discharged military veterans; Medal of Honor recipients and their spouses and other family members; Reserve military and National Guard (on active duty); DoD (active and retired) appropriated and non-appropriated funds civilian employees; former spouses who have not remarried and other dependents entitled to commissary, exchange and theater privileges; DoD contractor employees, technical representatives, employees of military banking facilities, and credit unions working at Ft. Monroe; non-DoD Federal employees in the Hampton Roads area.
